An Evening with Netta in Conversation with iHeartRadio’s Emily Curl

Mar 20, 2022

With infectious charisma, a voice of endless colors, enchanting motion, loop wizardry, and acrobatic scatting, Netta quietly emerged as a global pop force in 2018. Join her for a special XYZ by 92Y event of conversation and music as she shares her journey from pop enthusiast to pop singer to breakout success at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Toy” — her hit that resounded worldwide, and climbed to number one on the Spotify viral chart in 44 countries. Since then, Netta has brought her vibrant spirit to international stages. She’ll talk about learning to beatbox, teaching herself to use a looper, experimenting with music and finding her voice. She’ll share her inspiring ethos about how she’s able to stay experimental, unique and quirky while maintaining her mainstream appeal. She’ll talk about her experiences at Israeli Fashion Week and taking a private stroll with Prince William during his visit to Israel — as well as recent work like her covers album The Best of Netta’s Office, Vol. 1 and recent tracks like “CEO” and “DUM.” And she’ll perform some of her songs.

With 650 million global streams to date and a plethora of ingenious pop concoctions in the works, Netta’s quirk-pop star is set to rise higher and shine brighter than ever throughout the remainder of 2021 and through 2022. Don’t miss this chance to hear from her in person at 92Y!
