Michael Skolnik: "We Should Remember Their Names"

Jan 30, 2013

Political Director to Russell Simmons and co-president of GlobalGrind.com Michael Skolnik recently spoke with us about gun violence in America.

After speaking about the school shooting in Newtown, Skolnik turned to the murders going on every day in inner cities:

We are not paying enough attention to those young people who are dying in our inner cities... they become numbers, they become statistics, we don't remember their names. But the Trayvon Martin's and the Derrion Albert's and the Kevin Miller's and the Jordan Davis's...who are being killed for no reason...we should also remember their names, remember their lives, and never let any young person die in vain.
