Love Your Enemies: Robert Thurman, Sharon Salzberg and Uma Thurman
For the past seven years, Sharon Salzberg and Robert Thurman have led workshops, filled to capacity, on the topic of Working with Your Enemies. The popularity of those sessions gave rise to their fascinating new book Love Your Enemies: How to Break the Anger Habit & Be a Whole Lot Happier. Salzberg and Thurman explain how and why “anger” and even “hatred” become addictive, hooking us into a vicious cycle that all but guarantees continuing unhappiness. They explain why these emotions are destructive and how to use our most unpleasant feelings to turn the key to becoming whole and happy—freeing ourselves to experience the joy that is inner peace. Moderated by Uma Thurman.
