Law of the Land: The Supreme Court Year in Review

Co-presented with FOLCS (Forum on Life, Culture & Society)
Ariane de Vogue, Tiffany Graham, Mark Joseph Stern, and William Treanor moderated by Thane Rosenbaum

Jul 7, 2022

After two years of virtual programs, FOLCS and 92NY are proud to bring Law of the Land: The Supreme Court’s Year in Review back to the live stage! The inner workings of the Supreme Court are mysterious and not easily understood, yet they have broad social impact and provoke public debate — especially this Term, with abortion and gun rights among the important decisions on the docket. Law of the Land breaks it all down in a comprehensive and entertaining way, taking the audience inside the Court’s major rulings of the year and their bearing on past and future cases.

Thane Rosenbaum hosts a diverse panel of experts — CNN’s Supreme Court Reporter, Ariane De Vogue; senior legal correspondent at Slate, Mark Stern; Dean William Treanor, Georgetown Law School; and Constitutional Law Professor at Touro Law Center, Tiffany Graham, in what promises to be a lively discussion on a contentious year.
