Lana Condor in Conversation with Jackie Strause

Jan 9, 2019

Presented by The Hollywood Reporter TV Talks and 92Y

Breakout star Lana Condor is one of the most in-demand actresses in entertainment, skyrocketing to fame with her star-turning role in the critically acclaimed Netflix rom-com To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Based on the New York Times-bestselling novel by Jenny Han, Lana broke the mold by becoming the first Asian American lead in a YA romantic comedy. And she broke it in a big way: over the course of just a few weeks following the film’s debut, Lana’s social media following soared from 100k followers to over 5 million. She joins Jackie Strause, East Coast Digital Lead Editor for The Hollywood Reporter, to chat about her successes, from playing shy high school student Lara Jean Covey to the exciting projects she has coming this spring in James Cameron’s cyberpunk action feature Alita: Battle Angel and the soon-to-premiere Syfy series Deadly Class. She may even talk about her love of puppies and pasta. Prepare to be enchanted.
