Joel Grey with Gay Talese: Master of Ceremonies
For more than 60 years, the actor, singer and dancer Joel Grey has delighted audiences on stage, film and television.
He won an Oscar, a Tony and a Golden Globe Award for his iconic role as the Master of Ceremonies in Cabaret — and he’s a photographer whose work is in the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum of Art. Join him for an intimate conversation about his life, as told in his new memoir, Master of Ceremonies: being the son of famous Yiddish comedian and klezmer clarinetist Mickey Katz; his journey from Cleveland to Broadway and Hollywood; coming out at the age of 82; and what’s next for Joel Grey.
