Israeli Finance Minister Yair Lapid with Charlie Rose

Oct 7, 2013

Finance Minister Yair Lapid is a newcomer to Israeli politics. His Yesh Atid ("There Is a Future") political party was the surprise of Israel's January 2013 elections, obtaining 19 seats in the Knesset and ultimately joining as a partner in the governing coalition. He talks with Charlie Rose about the challenges for peace, security and economic prosperity facing the state of Israel.

This event was co-presented with the Israel Policy Forum, a nonprofit, nonpartisan American organization dedicated to promoting Israel's future as a secure, Jewish and democratic state by advancing a negotiated two-state solution to the Israeli-Arab conflict.
