Dr. Amy Bantham in Conversation with Katera Noviello-Kapoor

Mar 14, 2024

Join Spark Your Health for a discussion delving into key takeaways from Dr. Amy Bantham’s latest book, Move to Live More: A Guide for Parents and Caregivers to Help Their Kids Move More and Feel Better. The talk will focus on how our children’s physical and mental health, as well as academic development, is impacted by the physical literacy weaved into children’s lives on a regular basis. The role and importance of parents and caretakers in laying the groundwork for a healthy future, filled with practical tips, will be covered as well. This Spark Your Health talk features President of the Physical Activity Alliance, Dr. Amy Bantham, in conversation with Katera Noviello-Kapoor.

We hope that parents, caregivers, coaches, mentors, teachers, and anyone involved in enriching the lives of our younger generations will attend. Some key topics covered under the three dimensions of whole child health will include innovative physical activity initiatives, movements to make physical literacy more engrained in academics, the importance of play, keeping movement positive and fun, focus and concentration in the classroom, leadership and much more.
