Hulu’s History of the World, Part II

Nick Kroll and Ike Barinholtz in Conversation with Richard Kind

Mar 8, 2023

Join comedians Nick Kroll and Ike Barinholtz for a special screening from their new series, History of the World, Part II — the long-awaited sequel to Mel Brooks’ classic 1981 comedy — followed by a conversation moderated by Richard Kind. It’s been over 40 years since Brooks’ hilariously irreverent spoof of major, minor, and non-existent historical events first sent movie audiences into hysterics, and the film has won over generations of new fans in the intervening decades. Now, boasting a who’s who cast of contemporary comedians — plus Brooks himself — the history of the world finally continues. Following the screening, hear Kroll, Barinholtz and Kind discuss how the series came together, why it took over 40 years to make a sequel, stories from behind the scenes with Brooks, and much more.
