An evening of conversation with actress Glenda Jackson, moderated by Annette Insdorf.

Currently starring in King Lear at the Golden Theatre, Glenda Jackson is not only a legendary performer but a politician who spent 23 years as a member of Parliament. Her triumphant return to Broadway in Edward Albee’s Three Tall Women last year—after a 30-year absence—earned her the Tony Award, among other prizes. For her performance as King Lear in 2016 at the Old Vic in London, she won the Evening Standard Award for Best Actress, and a Critics Circle Award for Best Shakespearean Performance.

Glenda Jackson began her stage career as a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, making her Broadway debut in Marat/Sade (1965). She began her political career in 1992, running for Parliament, and serving till 2015.
