The Future of Diplomacy: Secretary Madeleine Albright and Ambassador Wendy Sherman in Conversation with Gillian Tett

Dec 5, 2018

Co-presented with the Financial Times

In a divided world that needs diplomacy now more than ever, hear from two brilliant leaders who’ve devoted their lives to striving for peace and understanding.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, whose urgent new book is Fascism: A Warning, and Wendy Sherman, lead negotiator of the Iran nuclear deal and author of Not for the Faint of Heart: Lessons in Courage, Power, and Persistence, sit down for a timely conversation with Gillian Tett, US managing editor of the Financial Times. Albright and Sherman worked together in the Clinton years, and they’re here to share their wealth of diplomatic experience and offer crucial insights on today’s international crises.

This series will pair global luminaries in business, media, government, and academia with senior Financial Times editors to discuss a range of issues on the business of power, the mind of money, the future of media, and the state of politics.
