Decade of Disorder: Madeleine Albright in Conversation with David Miliband

Jun 28, 2016

Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright joins David Miliband, the president and CEO of the International Rescue Committee, to explore what can be done to meet the needs of the unprecedented number of people uprooted by conflict, war and disorder.

They will address major global challenges today at the intersection of security and justice, including the refugee crisis in Europe, upheaval in Syria and other global hotspots that need humanitarian relief.

Prior to leading the IRC, David Miliband had a distinguished political career in the United Kingdom, serving as Foreign Secretary and Secretary of State for the Environment. Dr. Madeleine K. Albright is chair of the Albright Stonebridge Group, the premier global strategic advisory and commercial diplomacy firm. She was Secretary of State from 1997-2001.
