Conversation with the Cast of The Crown
Anglophiles, the wait is over — the intrigue continues as Season 2 of Netflix’s The Crown gets underway. The acclaimed series, from the creative team of writer Peter Morgan (The Queen) and director Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot), charts the riveting inside story of Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street in the second half of the 20th century. And the new season takes us into the revolutionary era of the 1960s, when deference for the Crown came up against unprecedented calls for social and political liberation.
Hear from Claire Foy (Queen Elizabeth II) and Matt Smith (Philip, Duke of Edinburgh) from this celebrated drama when they pay a visit to 92Y. The Crown Season 2 launches on Netflix December 8.
