Legendary music mogul Clive Davis spoke with Rolling Stone contributing editor Anthony DeCurtis on March 7, 2013 at 92nd Street Y. As part of the talk, Davis addressed being bisexual.
“After my second marriage failed…I just found that I would open myself up to the possibility of a relationship based on the person and not on gender.”
Turning to bisexuality was intimidating, he said:
“It was frankly intimidating in the sense that the adage is true…nobody believes in it. You’re either gay or straight or you’re lying. You get tired of not making any progress.”
