Chelsea Clinton and Sandra Fluke: How Our Public Policies Create Barriers For Women

Mar 28, 2013

Chelsea Clinton moderated "Running in Heels" on March 28th, 2012 at 92Y. A 92Y/Glamour magazine presentation, this clip shows Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke discussing the structural barriers preventing women from running for and holding political office. These barriers include lack of childcare for women and lack of contraception for women in low income jobs. To Fluke, women must say "these policies should be better for us, so that we can be part of it."
