Barry Sonnenfeld with Jerry Seinfeld: 92Y Talks Episode 230

Mar 26, 2020

Legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld joins film and television director Barry Sonnenfeld, to launch his new memoir, Barry Sonnenfeld, Call Your Mother: Memoirs of a Neurotic Filmmaker. Outrageous and hilarious, the book traces Sonnenfeld’s idiosyncratic upbringing in New York City, his breaking into film as a cinematographer with the Coen brothers, and his unexpected career as the director behind such huge film franchises as The Addams Family and Men in Black, and beloved work like Get Shorty, Pushing Daisies, and A Series of Unfortunate Events. The conversation was recorded on March 8, 2020 in front of a live audience at New York's 92nd Street Y.
