Alan Yang in Conversation with Entertainment Weekly’s Clarissa Cruz

Apr 10, 2020

Alan Yang is one of the most prolific and relevant talents in Hollywood right now.

The Emmy-winning writer, creator, producer, and director—whose body of work includes NBC’s Parks and Recreation, Netflix’s Master of None, Amazon Prime’s Forever, and NBC’s The Good Place—is currently an executive producer on Apple TV+’s Little America starring Kumail Nanjiani. Now, on the eve of the release of the Netflix film Tigertail, a family saga he wrote, produced, and directed, he talks with Entertainment Weekly’s Clarissa Cruz about his most personal project to date, his Hollywood journey, and the role of entertainment in these strange COVID-19 times.
