On March 19, Hank Greenberg, AIG’s former CEO of 40 years and now head of Starr Companies, sat down with Bloomberg Television anchor Betty Liu at 92Y to tell the complete, inside story of the rise and near-destruction of AIG. Taking issue with the unfair perception of post-bailout AIG, Greenberg believes that the government has exceeded its constitutional authority in taking assets and his lawsuit against the government is warranted.
