Eugenio Derbez was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He is the son of legendary film and television actress, Sylvia Derbez, and began acting at the very young age of twelve. He holds degrees in film directing and in acting.

A star of both live-action and animated films, Derbez has featured in a number of films that have brought his lifetime box-office gross to over $2.5 billion, earning Derbez the global title of the most successful Latin actor at the box office. Out of his generation, he is considered to be the fourth most influential person on social media worldwide.

In 2013, Derbez wrote, produced, starred in, and directed Instructions Not Included. The film became the highest grossing Spanish-language film ever in the U.S. and the world, making $100 million on a budget of only $5 million. Derbez has also starred in hits like How To Be A Latin Lover, Overboard, Jack & Jill, Geostorm, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Miracles from Heaven, and Dora and the Lost City of Gold. He most recently starred in the Sundance Film Festival hit CODA, which won the U.S. Grand Jury Prize.

Derbez has produced and starred in his own comedy shows for the last 25 years, with the highest ratings for a comedy on TV. His shows are still pulling in audiences through reruns in all of Latin America and in the U.S. through the Spanish language network, Univision.

With his production company, 3Pas Studios, Derbez has an exciting slate of both television and film projects set up in multiple platforms in English and Spanish. Recently, Derbez received a Daytime Emmy Award for his comedy show LOL: Last One Laughing, which he both produced and hosted.

In 2014, Variety recognized Derbez as the #1 most influential Hispanic male in the world. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and has his very own star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is without a doubt that Eugenio Derbez continues to be a strong growing force in the entertainment business.

Austin Winsberg is a writer/producer for film and television. He created/executive produces/show runs the Emmy Award-winning musical dramedy series Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. Winsberg produced and co-wrote the movie Secret Society of Second Born Royals. He is currently writing the movie Baby Nurse (starring Leslie Jones).

Winsberg adapted the live The Sound of Music television event, starring Carrie Underwood, for NBC — which had the highest viewership of all the live network musicals. His other television credits include 9JKL, Gossip Girl, Jake in Progress (creator/executive producer and the youngest showrunner in ABC history), Wedding Album, Still Standing, and Glory Days. He has written numerous half-hour and hour-long television pilots for ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Showtime, Amazon, and Freeform. He has also written movies for New Line, Dreamworks Animation and Warner Bros.

Winsberg is the book writer of the Broadway musical First Date, which enjoyed a sold-out run at Seattle’s 5th Ave/ACT Theatres, prior to opening at the Longacre Theatre on Broadway in 2013. That show was licensed by Rodgers and Hammerstein and is currently playing around the US and throughout the world.

Winsberg graduated with a Theater Arts degree from Brown University. He is a five-time winner of the Blank Theater Company’s Annual Young Playwright’s Festival in Los Angeles. He continues to work actively with the Blank, directing and mentoring plays by teenage playwrights from all around the country.

Eduardo Cisneros is a screenwriter and producer who co-wrote and co-produced the #1 Spanish-language film of all time in the U.S., Instructions Not Included, directed by and starring Eugenio Derbez. The film was a global success, grossing over $100 million worldwide. His career started at a young age in his native Mexico, where he co-created two of the most successful Spanish-language television comedy shows of recent years, XHDRBZ and Familia P. Luche.

Upon coming to Los Angeles, Cisneros teamed up with his now writing and producing partner, Jason Shuman. The two recently released Half Brothers, directed by Luke Greenfield and the comedy War of Likes, directed by Maria Ripoll.

Currently, Cisneros and Shuman are writing a remake of the 1980s classic film Short Circuit with the Spyglass Media Group as well as projects for Sony and Paramount. On the producing front, the two are in post-production on the drama To Leslie, starring Andrea Riseborough and Allison Janney for director Michael Morris. Among his other feature producing credits is the feature drama The Obituary of Tunde Johnson, directed by Ali Leroi.

Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico and a graduate of Tecnologico de Monterrey, Cisneros is on the advisory board of the Los Angeles Academy of Arts and Enterprise (LAAAE) and is a founding member of Clubhouse Latinx, the LGBTQIA+ Latinx film and television writers’ organization.

Screenwriter and producer Jason Shuman’s movies have grossed over $500 million worldwide; four of the movies he produced reached the #1 position at the domestic box office. These were Darkness Falls, The Messengers, Bangkok Dangerous, and the Oscar-nominated Lone Survivor. Shuman has also produced movies including Rebel in the Rye, Little Black Book, Daddy Day Camp, Middle Men, and the comedy favorite Role Models.

For television, both network and streaming, his shows have amassed well over 200 episodes. Shuman’s productions have ranged from the hit family comedy Are We There Yet? to the long-running Anger Management to the telefilm Dawn Anna, for which Debra Winger earned an Emmy nomination.
