Steven Spielberg’s semi-autobiographical film The Fabelmans has been nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture, and has been acclaimed as “The movie we’ve been waiting 45 years for Steven Spielberg to make” by Rolling Stone; “A masterpiece” by Collider, and “the best movie of the year” by the New York Post.

Academy Award nominees Michelle Williams (Actress in a Leading Role) and Tony Kushner (Writing, Original Screenplay) join Reel Pieces Moderator Annette Insdorf for a live, in-person talk following the screening. Hear how Williams, who plays the role of the matriarch who shaped a movie-making legend, prepared for this once-in-a-lifetime role; and about Kushner’s experiences co-writing and producing the film with Spielberg after their years-long collaboration.
