Thomas Middleditch is known for his starring role as the lead character Richard Hendricks in Mike Judge’s critically acclaimed HBO series, Silicon Valley. Thomas’ performance garnered him a 2016 Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series” along with three Critics’ Choice nominations for “Best Actor in a Comedy Series.” Middleditch recently starred in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Zombieland: Doubletap and appeared in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street and Jay Roach’s The Campaign. His most recent project, Middleditch & Schwartz, a two-man improv comedy show, has been selling out live shows across the country. He’s also a voice on Solar Opposites, the new animated series from Rick and Morty creators Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan premiering on Hulu May 8, 2020.

Ben Schwartz is an Emmy® Award winning writer, actor, and comedian. Schwartz can currently be seen alongside Thomas Middleditch in their Netflix specials, Middleditch & Schwartz. The specials are based on their completely improvised two person show that they took on tour through early 2020. During this tour, the two played Carnegie Hall, Chicago Theatre, and sold out theaters all across the country.

Upcoming, Schwartz will be seen starring in Netflix’s Space Force, the comedy series that follows the people tasked with creating Space Force, a new branch of the U.S. military. Created by Greg Daniels and Steve Carrell, Schwartz will star alongside Carrell, Noah Emmerich, and John Malkovich in the new original comedy set to premiere on May 29, 2020.

Most recently, Schwartz voiced the title character in the highly successful live action/animation hybrid film Sonic the Hedgehog, based on the classic Sega video game. It has since become the highest domestic grossing video game adaptation of all-time with $146 million and a worldwide gross of $306.7 million. Schwartz also starred in and executive produced the independent film Standing Up, Falling Down alongside Billy Crystal, which Deadline’s Pete Hammond called “a career highpoint” for Schwartz.

It was recently announced that Schwartz and Sam Rockwell have teamed up for an upcoming film for Searchlight Pictures. The division picked up the project as a pitch from Schwartz and he is set to pen the script. Both Schwartz and Rockwell will star in and executive produce the untitled feature.
