Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell: Clips and Conversation with MTV’s Josh Horowitz

Apple TV+’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters

Nov 29, 2023

Join father-and-son duo Kurt and Wyatt Russell for conversation about their new Apple TV+ Monsterverse series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters with MTV’s Josh Horowitz, plus clips from the show. Wyatt Russell has been watching his father act ever since he was a child. Kurt Russell has watched his son follow in his footsteps. But in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, they’ve inspired one another while playing the same character, half a century apart. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, based on Legendary’s Monsterverse, toggles back and forth between the 1950s and the present day with Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt and Wyatt), unveiling a shadowy organization and earth-shattering secrets about the monsters who roam the planet. In this special live taping of Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, hear Kurt and Wyatt on the making of the series, studying one another on set and collaborating to create the younger and elder incarnations of their character, stories from behind the scenes, and more.
