International Holocaust Remembrance Day: A Virtual Remembering with 92Y and the Religious Union for Progressive Judaism in Minsk

Jan 26, 2021

Rabbi Peter Rubinstein, Rabbi Samantha Frank, Rebecca Schoffer, Rabbi Grigory Abramovich, Pastor Mandy Derr, Pastor Vladimir Tatarnikov, Alan Moskin, and Michael Kemerov.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day falls every year on January 27 to commemorate the six million Jews lost to the murderous Nazi regime, along with 11 million more people who perished due to gross and violent intolerance.

Join 92Y and the Religious Union for Progressive Judaism from Minsk, Belarus on the evening of January 26 (Erev International Holocaust Remembrance Day) for a virtual program. We’ll hear from Holocaust survivors and join together to say, “never again.”

The program will also feature our very own Rabbis, Rabbi Peter Rubinstein and Rabbi Samantha Frank as well as Rebecca Schoffer, Minsk Rabbi Grigory Abramovich, Pastor Mandy Derr, Pastor Vladimir Tatarnikov, liberator Alan Moskin, Michael Kemerov, and others.
