Hulu’s Pen15: Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine in Conversation with Evan Ross Katz
Join the Emmy-nominated creators and stars of Hulu’s comedy series Pen15, Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine, for a conversation about their hit show’s eagerly anticipated second season. Set in the year 2000, Pen15 tells the story of Anna and Maya, two 13-year-old girls — ingeniously played by Konkle and Erskine themselves among a cast of actual 13-year-olds — making their way through the traumas and triumphs of middle school, hilariously (and movingly) portraying the beating heart of adolescent turmoil. Hear Konkle and Erskine discuss the inspiration for the series, playing versions of their seventh-grade selves, stories from behind the scenes, and much more.
