Maj.-Gen. (ret.) Amos Yadlin identifies the three things that the Israelis and Palestinians need to agree to in order to achieve peace. His sense is that neither side is ready to agree to all three.
The Israelis, Yadlin says, have to agree to two states; baseline for borders is 1967; and they have to agree to a partition of Jerusalem.
The Palestinians have to make concessions as well: recognizing Zionism; no right of return; and a security arrangement "that basically takes some of their sovereignty".
