Noah Hawley’s work as a filmmaker and storyteller has garnered acclaim and passionate response from audiences along with offering thoughtful and entertaining cultural commentary and observations. In Fargo, based on the Coen Brothers’ classic Academy Award-winning film, he has made his mark with one of the most acclaimed television series of his generation. Taking the macabre humor and wintry landscapes of the Coen’ film and spinning it into wildly inventive new directions, Hawley has pushed the anthology series into new territory. Since Fargo debuted in 2014, its casts have included Chris Rock, Ben Whishaw, Ewan McGregor, Carrie Coon, Patrick Wilson, Jean Smart, Kirsten Dunst, Billy Bob Thornton and Jason Schwartzman — plus many more.
