Mother Goose

Join us as the tales of Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill, and more — nursery rhymes and songs passed down from generation to generation — get a distinctly contemporary retelling.

A joyful event for the whole family, there’s no better way to introduce your child to the magic of stories and songs that they’ll carry with them their whole lives.

The fun doesn’t have to stop at the theater. Keep the fun going and continue the experience of Mother Goose at home or in the classroom! This curriculum guide is designed in connection with 92NY Theater for Young Audiences production of Mother Goose. The activities are not only meant to engage children artistically, but kinesthetically and through sensory learning as well. Many activities connect with one another. These activities can be done at home with your little one, or in a classroom led by a teacher. You can download the Guide as a PDF to complete the activities.

Is this your child’s first theater experience? Check out our Social Story designed to prepare children ahead of time, for what they can expect when they come see a show here at 92NY. You can download the Social Story as a PDF and read it with your child before you come!
