Screenprinting is an ideal skill for artists across all media to translate existing work to the print format, creating endless opportunity to vary scale, color, size or surface.
This course will break down the fundamentals of the screenprinting process, including creating print-ready artwork, coating and exposing screens, mixing ink, and building a reliable set-up for screenprinting multiples. Projects will be a balance of open-ended and themed with some collaborative work with your fellow classmates. Students will leave with prints, a finished screen and the skills to continue a home-print practice.
All printmaking supplies provided.
