The Art of Tarot: Drawing and Painting Magic

Supply List:

Required:

• Sketchbook - any size that feels comfortable for you to carry, (Moleskine is a favorite brand)
• Watercolor pad - 9x12” (Canson XL brand is great)
• Gouache set (you can find a beginner set for under $20 at Blick/Utrecht)
• 3-4 Micron pens in different sizes, including the brush pen 3-5 Round paintbrushes in various sizes (extra small to medium)
• Sumi ink (2oz bottle)
• Collage materials (vintage magazines (Nat Geo, Life, Star and Sky, etc), colored paper, wallpaper/paint swatches, old picture books, art catalogues, childrens books - The Strand dollar bins are a great resource!)
• Glue stick
• Scissors

Optional but encouraged:

• Tarot deck (any deck, any size; the Rider-Waite-Smith deck is a great starter)
• Sakura solid paint markers (any colors you like)
• Tempera paint sticks set (any brand is fine)
• X-acto Cutting mat (small)
