Screen Printing

All screen printing supplies provided. Students will leave this workshop with prints and a finished screen to continue working at home.

For the first class, all you need to show up with is yourself - we'll learn the fundamentals of how to create images that lend well to the screen printing process and we'll create a collaborative film-positive together. In the following weeks, your homework will be to prepare your own designs for that you would like printed, no larger than 8x10" with all parts of your design in BLACK ONLY with high contrast and free of very fine lines to produce ideal results. 

We will provide white paper for printing. You are welcome to bring cotton t-shirts, tote bags, fabric, colored paper, or anything else that you would like to experiment screen printing on. I would suggest not bringing anything too precious or expensive until you feel more familiar with the process.
