- Graphite Pencils: HB, 2B, 4B, and 6B. (About $1,50 each)
- Charcoal: Vine charcoal (soft and medium) and compressed charcoal sticks. (About $6,00)
- Conte Crayons: In black, white, and sanguine (for classical studies). ($5,00 set)
- Erasers: (about $2,00)
- Kneaded eraser.
- Vinyl eraser.
- Drawing Paper:
- Newsprint pad (18" x 24") for quick sketches. (optional)
- Strathmore or Canson sketch pad (18" x 24") for detailed work (about $20)
- blue tape ($4)
- Blending Tools:
- Tortillons or blending stumps. (About $5.00)
- (Cotton pads or tissue).
Additional/Optional Supply List:
- Fixative Spray: For charcoal drawings to prevent smudging - it is suggest for keep the artworks but not allowed in class- (about $10)
- Only for students who wish to work with one or more of these techniques:
- Ink and Nibs: India ink and a dip pen or brush for line work
- Pastels: Soft pastels for expressive studies. (about $3 each)
- Colored pencils (about $2 each)
