Megan Doyle, Director of Musical Theater at The 92nd Street Y, New York, is an accomplished dance and theatre professional with extensive experience as a teacher, administrator, and performer. She holds an M.A. in Dance Education from New York University, a B.A. in English and Secondary Education from St. Joseph’s College and is a graduate of the Dance Education Laboratory. Currently, Megan is pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Theatre at NYU.

Megan directs and choreographs unique professional dance theatre experiences for children and adults including the 92NY productions Dorothy’s Adventures in Oz, A is for Audra, The Velveteen Rabbit, Red Riding Hood, and Adventure to Neverland. In 2018, she developed the 92NY Musical Theater Development Lab, producing original workshop productions including From The Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, Molly the Manatee, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. She has also choreographed for American Girl, Netflix, Lululemon, and Disney.

Megan’s interest in pedagogy extends well beyond the classroom. She is a facilitator of programming, consulting on syllabi, lesson-planning, mission, and overall strategic thinking for children’s dance and theatre programs throughout the country. She is also a highly sought-after teacher. From individual coaching to large scale convention teaching, Megan brings joy, fire, tenacity, and clarity to every class.

As a performer, Megan is proud to have spent 5 years on tour as Anne in The Diary of Anne Frank. Chelsey Storteboom is a New York City based singer, dancer, actress, and educator who has been teaching at The 92nd Street Y, New York since 2016. Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, she graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and has performed in many theaters throughout North America. Here at 92NY, Chelsey has performed with 92NY Theater for Young Audiences in several shows, including The Tempest (Ariel), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy Van Pelt), Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Godmother), Tuck Everlasting (Mae Tuck), Alice in Wonderland (Queen of Hearts), Messy Millie (Fairy), Dorothy’s Adventures in Oz (Glinda), and many more!

Associate Director of Education, 92NY Musical Theater

Elise Connolly is an artist-educator with experiences as a teacher, performer, and choreographer. She holds an M.A. in Educational Theatre for Colleges & Communities from New York University, a B.A. in Theatre from Florida State University, and a Performance Certificate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. As an educator, Elise has experience teaching students 3 months to 18 years. She has taught at preschools, middle schools, arts programs, and dance studios throughout New York City. As a performer, her favorite credits include The Heidi Chronicles (Heidi), Ragtime (Featured Dancer), and Show Boat (Featured Dancer) to name a few.

Jeffrey Sanzel has been writing and directing educational theatre for over thirty years including From the Fires: Voices of the Holocaust; And These, Our Friends; Class Dismissed: The Bullying Project and Stand Up! Stand Out! The Bullying Project. He has directed over four hundred main stage and children’s theatre productions including The Laramie Project; next to normal; M Butterfly; Master Class; Doubt; Les Misérables; Ruthless! The Musical; Sweeney Todd; and The Bridges of Madison County, in addition to over one hundred one-act world premieres. As a playwright, his produced works include Where There’$ a Will; Fair Enough; and 1968: Rock the World. He has been adapting and directing A Christmas Carol as well as playing Scrooge for the past three decades. Andrew Heidorn has been composing, writing lyrics, and orchestrating with 92NY since 2021 and has loved every single minute of it. His previous work with 92NY includes Messy Millie, Dorothy’s Adventures In Oz, and Alice In Wonderland. Andrew has worked at the Walt Disney World Resort for 8 years and you can find him performing at the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom daily. His most recent original work, Tanabata: A New Musical, debuted at the 2024 Orlando Fringe Festival where it received the award for Best Show. Andrew looks forward to continuing his work with 92NY and enriching the youth of New York through the art of Theatre for Young Audiences.

Taylor Rae Fox is a New York performer originally from Cincinnati Ohio with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University. Taylor has performed in many shows at 92NY, including You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Sally Brown), Messy Millie (Millie), The Tempest (Miranda), Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Portia), Dorothy’s Adventures in Oz (Dorothy), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), Red Riding Hood (Little Red), Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Goldilocks), and Snow White and the S-E-V-E-N Dwarfs (Snow White).

Carly Mazer is a New York City based Performer/Writer/Teaching Artist. She attended Northwestern University and graduated top of her class with a major in Theatre. Here at 92NY, Carly has performed in many TYA shows, including The Tempest (Antonio), Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Joy), Alice in Wonderland (Dormouse), Messy Millie (Sophia), Red Riding Hood (Little Red), Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Roxanne), and Snow White and the S-E-V-E-N Dwarfs (Rose Redmond).

Esther Sanchez is a New York based dancer and teaching artist who received her bachelor’s degree in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. She has performed in many of 92NY’s Theater for Young Audiences productions, including You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Alice in Wonderland, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Tempest.

Sarina Gonzalez graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance. She has been in more 10 TYA shows at 92NY, including Alice in Wonderland (March Hare), Snow White & the S-E-V-E-N Dwarfs (Tumbles), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Tuck Everlasting, R&H’s Cinderella, The Velveteen Rabbit, The Tempest, Messy Millie, and Red Riding Hood.

Maddie Jewell is a Brooklyn based actor and writer originally from Salinas, California (where your strawberries are from). They hold a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch, with a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. At 92NY, Maddie has performed in The Tempest (Ferdinand), James and the Giant Peach (James), and What Do You Do With an Idea? (Kai).

Victoria Preisman grew up in Albany, NY and has a BFA in Drama (musical theatre concentration) from NYU/Tisch School of the Arts. Victoria has been performing in TYA shows at 92NY since 2021, including Dorothy’s Adventures in Oz (Glinda), Goldilocks and the S-E-V-E-N Dwarfs (Georgia), Alice in Wonderland (Cheshire Cat), R&H’s Cinderella (Queen), The Tempest (Caliban), James and The Giant Peach (Aunt Spiker), and What Do You Do With an Idea? (Ethos).

Sharon Kenny writes songs and the words that go with them. She lives in New York. Kenny’s music has been prominently featured worldwide on television (Netflix, Lifetime, Amazon), most notably with five placements on the hit show, Dance Moms. Her theatre work has been produced and/or developed at New York Theatre Workshop, Manhattan Theatre Club, 92NY, Williamstown Theatre Festival, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, The Yale Institute of Music Theatre, The Institute for American Musical Theatre, and Stages Theatre Company. Sharon’s work in Children’s Theatre includes adaptations of the New York Times bestsellers What Do You Do With an Idea?, Maybe (both by Kobi Yamada), Dragons Love Tacos (by Adam Rubin), as well as commissions for 92NY (The Tempest, Mother Goose, Ice Queen, A Midsummer Night’s Dream). Additionally, Kenny serves as Musical Director to Broadway’s Abby Mueller (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Six), and the upcoming musical Rutka (Lincoln Center, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park). Cristina Pippa is an award-winning playwright and filmmaker. Collaborations with Sharon Kenny include commissioned world premieres for 92NY, such as Ice Queen and Tempest, which was recommended by The New York Times, as well as musical adaptations of Kobi Yamada’s What Do You Do with an Idea? and Maybe and Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin for Stages Theatre Company. Cristina’s musical short film Curtain with songs by Sharon Kenny premiered at New York CineFest this year. Her short film Amelia premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival Kids International Film Festival and won the Golden Gateway Award at the Mumbai Film Festival. She completed her BA at Columbia University and her MFA at the University of Iowa Playwrights Workshop, where she received the Iowa Fellowship for the Arts and the Norman Felton Fellowship. www.cristinapippa.com
