The Entitled

Victoria Kohn Michels

I want to stop hating the people in 2R. Yes, she
manages to make an English accent sound offensive.
The list of their indiscretions goes on and on and on…
So sorry, mi lady, but we don't reside at Downton Abbey!

What a stupid, luxury problem: lamest co-op in Brooklyn.
So much energy wasted chewing upon resentment after
resentment like a cow chewing her cud. Somehow,
Princeton and Oxford didn't teach them how to use a

phone book to find a plumber, or to say, "Thank you."
Why, oh why do I care? But is it really 2R? Or is it my
sister, who caught a ride on a friend's Gulfstream IV,

told no one, and posted pictures of herself next to the
portrait of our mother, painted in Japan when she was
twenty-five, the one my sister claims is hers?
