The GRAMMY Museum and 92NY are thrilled to host Ingrid Michaelson for an intimate conversation about her album, For the Dreamers, composing music for The Notebook, her creative process, and more, followed by a performance.

Ingrid Michaelson is one of the many artists to be featured in the GRAMMY Museum’s New York City program series, which includes bringing a slate of the GRAMMY Museum’s renowned GRAMMY In The Schools Education Programs and Public Programs to the East Coast.

Ingrid Michaelson is a force in the music industry, known for her distinctively soulful folk-pop style. Her music is released on the label she founded, Cabin 24 Records, including her gold and platinum hits “The Way I Am,” “Girls Chase Boys,” and “You and I.” She’s scored songs for television, including Little Fires Everywhere (Emmy nomination) and Tiny Beautiful Things both for Hulu, and was executive music producer for Slumberkins for AppleTV+, creating original songs for the series. Michaelson made her Broadway stage debut in …The Great Comet of 1812 and made her Broadway debut as a composer earlier this year with the musical adaptation of The Notebook.
