NYC Mayoral Debate Question on Limited vs. Local Buses

Mar 21, 2013

92Y and the New York Observer hosted a NYC Mayoral Debate on March 21, 2013 featuring Republican candidates John Catsimatidis, George McDonald and Joseph Lhota and Democratic candidates Sal Albanese, Bill De Blasio, John Liu, Christine Quinn and Bill Thompson. One of the highlights of the evening was this pre-recorded question from a 92Y patron on the issue of limited (express) and local buses on Lexington Avenue. It sparked a good discussion on transportation in NYC, with many candidates suggesting the city’s mayor should have more control over the MTA. What do you think?
